Two large LED screens simultaneously broadcast the daily life of a retirement home and an alternative music festival. Two environments collide. Musicians and festivalgoers get into the mood while a 91-year-old woman begins her day. This bedridden woman receives care as synthesizer notes ring out under a festival tent. The concerts follow one another and become the inner landscape of this elderly woman.

What happens within a motionless body? What does she go through? What is she thinking?

Marnie is an artist duo made up of filmmaker Simon David (CH, 1994) and video artist Patxi Endara (FR, 1993).
