Rafaël Klepfisch

Rafaël Klepfisch (Brussels, 1992) holds a Master degree in Filmmaking from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Louvain-la-Neuve and a Master degree in History from the University of Le Mans.

To date, he has written and directed six short films, including Mayla (2017) and L’eau, seule certitude (2018), which have been selected in numerous festivals.

For Rafaël Klepfisch, filming first always takes on a reflexive form. The video takes the form of an essay, it allows us to reposition and bear witness to a perceived reality.

In 2019, he begins a collaboration with Camille Dufour on the project Les 7 péchés du capitalisme (The 7 Sins of Capitalism). Together, they are also working on creating a comic strip. Rafaël Klepfisch is also a professor of Film History at Preparts. He also leads workshops at the Cinematek about comics and cinema.
